The Allay Period Relief Patch totally helps with painful periods

Posted by: maryhealth in: ● March 27, 2009

I had the good fortune a couple weeks ago to try out The Allay Relief Patch, which is a new product designed to help women who have painful periods.  Unfortunately, I fall into that category (as you already know if you are a reader of my blog).  Fortunately, the Allay Patch worked really well.  I am feeling very fortuitous that I gave it a shot.

Seriously, I know I sound like a commercial, but painful periods has been such a devastating issue in my life. This is really why I got into exploring the topic of women’s health and natural healing in the first place!  I hate taking medicine.  Hate it! But each month like clockwork, I am forced to take a bunch of midol to have any type of relief from the pain whatsoever.

I have tried all the natural remedies that work for some women (like raspberry tea, heating pads, and yoga) but those options haven’t worked for me at all.  The bad news is that even the midol usually doesn’t work to completely help me.  Once a month, I  have to take at least a full day off from work. And my employer is getting kind of irratated with me that I am always taking days off.relief_patch_safe

The Allay Patch uses electropulse therapy.  You can feel a tiny electric current working on you. However, when I tried it the sharp pains I was feeling dissolved almost immediately.   Here is some text from the Allay Patch website:

What’s Revolutionary about the Allay Period Relief Patch and is it Safe?

The Allay Period Relief Patch when used as directed is extremely safe. The amount of current generated by the Allay Period Relief Patch is approximately 1/10 of that generated by an ordinary cell phone. The pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF) technology on which the Allay Period Relief Patch is based has been widely available in clinical settings and has proven to be both safe and effective over decades of use. These machines, however, were very large and expensive and not suitable for home use and certainly were in no way portable. The inventors the Allay Period Relief Patch have used advanced micro circuitry to shrink this technology into a highly portable device that is wafer thin and can be worn directly against the skin. It’s truly a revolutionary advancement in technology.

They have been using Electronic Pulse therapy over the years to treat other types of pain- like back pain.  The Allay Patch is the first time this technology has been applied specifically for women.

Has anyone else tried the Allay Period Relief Patch? What do you think?

A friend of mine swears by these stick on heat pads, they activate once you open them and reduce menstruation pain, they are very cheaply available in supermarkets.

Electropulse therapy sounds interesting but I wonder how safe it is?
